Jeanie Marie Buss (born Jeanie Marie Buss) is a famous American woman in business. She is currently the president and the controlling owner of Los Angeles Lakers in the National Basketball Association. Buss is a native of California, grew up with an affluent life. Jerry Buss, her father was a businessman with a real estate business who later was the owner of Lakers Sports and Entertainment. She felt abandoned emotionally as her parents divorced in 1972. When she was 19 years old, she took over management of the Los Angeles Strings professional Tennis team as the General Manager. In the following years, she created the Los Angeles Blades roller hockey professional team. She was the president at the Great Western Forum, before becoming Vice President for the Lakers. Her father died in 2013, and the control for the Lakers was inherited by Buss and her five siblings through a family trust that gave each sibling an equal vote. She assumed her duties as the president of the Los Angeles Lakers. Buss is also the co-owner of Women of Wrestling a pro-wrestling organization based at Los Angeles.
