Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude Toubia was born and raised in Canada and is most well-known to Canadians due to her work as a Canadian actress on the Freeform fantasy television show Shadowhunters. She also appeared in Venevision Telenovelas Cosita linda e Voltea to whom you are love. She is also a successful model and a dancer. She was born in Montreal and has resided in Texas from the time she was a child and has always enjoyed doing shows. When she was a young girl she began to learn various forms of dance. As a 15-year-old, she entered beauty pageants. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia was a hit when she participated in Nuestra Belleza Latina, the Univision pageant program. In 2010 she played the receptionist in Telemundo television show Aurora. In 2015, she appeared in the action-drama Tattooed Love, her debut film.
